Bicicleta Buttons - 2002-2004

1" button, edition of about 300, hand painted

i've been a bicycle enthusiast since i was a kid

i bought a button maker in 2002 and made about 300-400 of these by hand, all different, i liked drawing really tiny bicycles and would draw them on scraps of magazine and paper with markers whenever i had the chance or some time and use them to make buttons. they all have a bicycle with hearts on it and say ¡bicicleta!

i gave them out at critical mass and to friends and acquaintances or if someone talked to me at bike events and shows and things or randomly to someone that was getting their bike or something if i remember i had them..
